    v1.3 Changes

    • Markdown is now the default for all new/edited event formatting

      • *italic* → italic text
      • **bold** → bold text
      • ***bold italic*** → bold + italic
      • [ ] task → unchecked checklist
      • [X] task → checked checklist

    • HTML backward compatibility: existing HTML-formatted events (<b>, <i>, <check>) are rendered correctly and preserved unless the title is actively modified

    • Checklist events display a checkbox in event lists and widgets

    • Checked checklist events show strikethrough and greying

    • Unchecking properly reverts strikethrough and greying

    • Bold/Italic formatting toolbar in event editor (toggles apply to entire title)

    Fixes in this build

    • Fixed spurious CalDAV sync error toast caused by Waydroid/system calendar provider bug
    • Fixed stale formatting state when creating new events after editing HTML events
